But I did say "together" and all of this would not have been possible without each and every single one of you. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making all of this possible. I'm looking forward to another amazing year in 2014 and many more to come thereafter.
In January I'll give you all my To Do List for the new year, but let's take a look back at what the To Do List looked like for 2013:

- Win an Experts League in Baseball
- Win an Experts League in Football

We continued to deliver on our promise of easy-to-understand, easy-to-implement fantasy sports strategy. It is always our goal to deliver fantasy sports strategy that you can use and that will elevate you from a normal fantasy player to one of the elite. It is our privilege to provide this to all of you, and we will continue to do so.
As far as finding a partner for giving back, I'm proud to announce that we have teamed with Kiva (www.kiva.org), which is an amazing global micro-loan organization that helps to fund and fuel the dreams of people in need worldwide. And, since we are all about strategy here at the Brain we wanted to make strategic donations with what we have been entrusted and Kiva gives us a great chance to do just that. I've attached a picture of the people we support together. We have focused on people in manufacturing of physical goods... furniture, jewelry, home remodeling, etc. These folks work hard and we're glad to be a small part of what they are striving to accomplish:
Regarding Experts Leagues, it was indeed a banner year. I was able to win the FSIC AL-Only league this year as well the regular season points championship in the DPS Experts Football League and the overall championship in the Fantasy Knuckleheads League. All of these leagues were extremely difficult competition and all of my opponents have my deepest respect. It's an honor to compete, and it feels great to more than hold my own with these guys. To actually win a few championships is amazing and really validates what we do around here. Thanks, folks!
And, yes, in June we did publish our first book! Most definitely! We developed a Kindle version, a PDF version, a printed softcover version, and even an audiobook. Launch day was heralded all over the place, including Sirius/XM Radio and many of you were able to take advantage of the launch bonuses. Thank you all for making "Getting Started with Fantasy Football: From Zero to Legit in One Day" a huge hit. It was (is!) an Amazon Best Seller, climbing all the way to #3 in its category. We were never able to climb past megastar Matthew Berry's book, but we'll be satisfied with #3 Best Seller.
You may be asking, "But Dave, were you able to find a collaborator for the blog?" Well, I'm glad you asked... because yes we did! Adam Filadelfo (@Frostt24) joined us late this summer and we are over the moon to have him onboard. Adam worked tirelessly on the team previews for football season and launched and wrote two weekly features for us: "Keepers, Sleepers, and Jeepers" and "Fine or Pine?" Adam has been an amazing addition to the Brainiac team and we're looking forward to many more years to come. Thank you, Adam!
The last two are things I'm really excited about as well. I was able to be published in the RotoWire Fantasy Football magazine this year as the author of the Buffalo Bills preview. It was an exceptional opportunity and a lot of fun to help out my friends at RotoWire. Thanks, guys!
And, I'll write more about the mailing list next week, but we've started to build a great list and we've got big plans for adding more value for all of you out there. If you'd like to join us, click here.
Once again, thank you all so very much. I am tremendously thankful to all of you, and in this season of joy and gratitude I want to take a knee in the endzone and give all of the glory to God for getting this thing started and fueling its momentum. Let's all keep it doing in 2014! (Much more to come... stay tuned.)
